An excerpt from my notes back in 2023:

'Back around new year, I had a wonderful time visiting my maternal granparents' house. One of the meaningful things I got back from that time was this lovely cardigan my grandma owned while she was still with us. I only wanted to borrow it for colder days, but my aunt told me to keep the cardigan. Every time I look at it, I think of my grandma, her embrace and tenderness.'

The Warmest Hug was made as a contribution to the 23th ‪episode of Animation Wild Card. The technique used for this project was a combination of felt cutting, digital painting, and digital alterations.
